Gold Label Card

GICA technology can detect both antigens and antibodies, mainly including indirect method, competitive method, and sandwich method. The sandwich method is further divided into double antigen sandwich method and double antibody sandwich method.

1. Indirect method is generally used for antibody detection. The colloidal gold pad is coated with the polyclonal antibody of the tested antibody, the detection line (T line) is coated with the antigen protein of the tested antibody, and the control line (C line) is coated with the secondary antibody of the gold label antibody. If a positive sample is tested, the antibody in the sample is first coated with the polyclonal antibody in the colloidal gold pad." Binding, when passing through the detection line, it binds to the antigen protein coated on the detection line and continuously accumulates colloidal gold and develops color. The excess gold labeled polyclonal antibodies continue to bind with the secondary antibodies of the gold labeled antibodies packaged on the quality control line, continuously accumulating and developing color. Both T-line and C-line show positive color, while T-line does not show color and C-line shows negative color. If neither T-line nor C-line shows color, it is considered invalid
